Milk Storage Tank
Milk storage tanks are hygienic containers, typically made of stainless steel, used to keep milk fresh from the time it is milked until it reaches the processing stage. Unlike collection tanks, these tanks generally have larger capacities and are designed to maintain the temperature of pre-chilled milk (4°C).
Key Features and Applications
Material Quality: AISI 304 or 316 polished stainless steel is used on both internal and external surfaces to ensure food safety.
Insulation: Equipped with high-density polyurethane insulation to prevent the milk from being affected by ambient temperatures.
Equipment: The tank includes agitators to prevent fat separation in the milk, digital displays for temperature monitoring, and cleaning balls compatible with the CIP (Clean-in-Place) system.
Varieties: Depending on the facility’s space, vertical cylindrical or horizontal (elliptical/cylindrical) models can be selected.
