Heat Exchanger (Plate Heat Exchanger)

Heat Exchanger (Plate Heat Exchanger)

Plate heat exchangers are highly efficient devices consisting of stainless steel plates arranged in parallel, designed to rapidly heat or cool milk in dairy processing plants.

Heat Exchanger (Plate Heat Exchanger)
Applications

Shock Cooling: Immediately lowering the temperature of freshly milked milk to 4°C before it enters the collection tank.
Pasteurization: Rapidly heating milk to 72–85°C to eliminate harmful bacteria.
Fermentation Preparation: Rapidly cooling pasteurized milk to the fermentation temperature for yogurt or cheese (42–45°C) in a very short time.

Key Features

Material: All plates and body components in contact with milk are made of AISI 316 grade stainless steel.
Plate Structure: Special channels (herringbone pattern) are present on the plates to increase the heat transfer surface area.
Cleaning: Removable models (with gaskets) are suitable for manual cleaning, while fixed models are compatible with CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems.

Estimated Prices (2024–2025)
